McCabe Building offers a range of building services to suit your needs. We understand that the building process can be confusing, confronting and often stressful; we hope to take away this burden for you through professional building management and excellent one on one communication.
We will provide a fixed price contract and build time certainty with no hidden extras. Everything you need to know will be laid out and explained upfront, so that you have clarity and confidence in your build.
We also offer an additional service assisting you in the initial concept and design of your build, helping to develop your ideas by providing innovative and on-trend design solutions.
OUR STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Plans: It would be beneficial to have construction plans prepared (plans do not need to be council approved at this stage).
*As an additional service McCabe Building can offer assistance with plans and designs by providing innovative design concepts that are on-trend, cost-efficient and sustainable. This can include but is not limited to - ventilation, orientation, windows, shading, insulation, colour-palettes and the latest build materials.
We can also assist you with contacts of either a plan drawer or architect.
Free onsite inspection: Please provide us with your address (or intended address) and Jesse will arrange to meet you, inspect your property/existing home, provide advice and answer any questions you may have.
Quotation: McCabe Building will then provide a free detailed fixed price quote for building works. Quotes will be customised to your needs.
Contract: Once the quote has been accepted an estimated date of commencement will be given, council approval, plans engineered and construction certificate is necessary at this stage. Jesse will then sit down with you, go over the building contracts to sign and answer any further questions.
Approval: McCabe Building will then liase with authorities and complete all applications, pay fees and obtain authority certificates on your behalf including BASIX and Home Owners Warranty Insurance (valid for 7 years).
Design & Finishes selection: McCabe Building will then send you the necessary documents in order for you to choose certain materials and finishes for your home, and a timeline for when each item needs to be chosen by; including tile selection, fixtures and fittings, electronics, flooring, external facade and paint colours. McCabe Building will give an allowance for each category, however this is able to be customised in your quote and can be changed throughout the build.
Construction: McCabe Building will then complete your chosen building works with attention to detail and professional workmanship. McCabe Building guarantees to finish the job at an exemplary standard to provide the home you have always dreamed of.
